P&N is committed to the communities in which it operates. All employees are encouraged to become involved in community and civic activities in which they have personal interest. As a good corporate citizen, we believe it is important to support the community through service hours and financial contributions. Our employees donate their time to not-for-profit and civic organizations. Because of the firm’s support of the community and our professionalism, P&N was awarded in 2003 Douglas Manship, Sr. Torch Award for Ethics in Business by the Better Business Bureau of South Central Louisiana. Our firm is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards in our client relationships. Independence and confidentiality are highly regarded values in our firm. We are proud to have been recognized with this award. Louisiana Initiatives P&N employees are involved in various committees and organizations that support Louisiana. Our employees serve on the Louisiana Tax Based Study Committee, Council for a Better Louisiana, Louisiana's Tax Institute, Louisiana Business and Technology Center Advisory Board, and Louisiana Family Recovery Corps. We have had firm representatives participate in the Board of Appeals for Local and State Use Tax, Secure Louisiana, Secure Review Commission, School Finance Review Commission, MCORE, and State of Louisiana House of Representatives' Committee on General Government. The firm was a contributing author to The Louisiana Gulf Opportunity Zone Business Guide (2006), a publication developed in cooperation with the Louisiana Department of Economic Development and other partners, and Louisiana Business Resource Guide (2006).
