P&N adds three new Directors: Robin Pilcher, Freddy Smith, and Todd Tournillon.

P&N is named to INSIDE Public Accounting magazine's list of Top 100 U.S. accounting firms.

2006

A.M. Best names P&N a Top 30 U.S. Audit Firm.

George Balhoff receives the LCPA Public Service Award.

Bill Balhoff is named as one of CPA Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential People in the accounting profession for the second year in row.

2005

Hurricane Katrina strikes the Louisiana Gulf Coast on August 29. The P&N Metairie Office temporarily relocates to Baton Rouge. The office reopens on October 3, 2005.

P&N adds three new Directors: Elizabeth Alford, Sharon Cassiere, and Brook Harvey.

Bill Balhoff is named as one of CPA Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential People in the accounting profession.

Michael Richmond assumes role of Chief Operating Officer at P&N Technologies.

2003

Significant renovations are completed in the Metairie office.

P&N adds a Northshore location.

The firm receives the Greater Baton Rouge Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Ethics in Business.

The firm receives the Leading Edge Alliance's 2003 Innovative Firm of the year award based on its work with the Stelly Plan online calculator.

2002

P&N adds three new Directors: Lynne Burkart, Scott Ginn, and Frank McNabb.

In recognition of the firm’s efforts in female initiatives, the American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) awards P&N with the 2002 Balance Award: Celebrating the Dimensions of Success.

Bill Balhoff testifies before the U.S. Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee on Thursday, March 14, 2002. He represented the AICPA PCPS membership on the “trickle down” effect of the pending Enron-related legislation on over 8,000 small to medium sized accounting firms.

2001

P&N acquires a network integration company and forms P&N Technologies.

2000

An accounting practice is acquired in Gonzales and P&N opens a second office in Ascension Parish.

Joey Richard joins the firm as a Director.

Bill Balhoff and Candy Wright are named among the 2002 “Top 100 Most Influential People” by Accounting Today.

1999

Postlethwaite & Netterville celebrates 50 years.

Jake Netterville receives the AICPA Gold Medal, the highest award given in the accounting profession.

Ralph Stephens receives the AICPA Public Service Award.

Donaldsonville office moves to its current location at 215 St. Patrick Street.

1998

Bill Potter assumes role as Managing Director.

1996

A second accounting practice is acquired in the greater New Orleans area. The firm moves its office to 2324 Severn Avenue in Metairie.

Lonnie Stockwell receives the AICPA Public Service Award.

1994

David Moore and Candy Wright become Directors.

1992

Bland O’Connor and Mike Schexnayer become Directors.

Jake Netterville serves as Chair of the AICPA, the premier organization for accounting professionals.

John Blouin becomes a Director.

1990

P&N receives the Baton Rouge Business Report’s Company of the Year (under 100 employees).

Postlethwaite, Netterville, Evans & Major shortens the name to Postlethwaite & Netterville.

Brian Stagg becomes a Director.

The firm name changes to Postlethwaite, Netterville, Evans and Major.

The firm acquires a practice in Donaldsonville.

Jake Netterville and David Evans become Directors.

1950

Casey Lea joins Alex Postlethwaite as a parter, creating Postlethwaite & Lea.

1949

Alexander Postlethwaite opens an accounting practice after a brief career as an accountant at Standard Oil.
