Our professionals have chaired technical issues committees, national standards boards, and state and local committees. Jake L. Netterville, CPA also served as Chairman of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the premier organization for accounting professionals with a membership of over 300,000. Through the years, P&N has had four Presidents of the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants, including Alexander L. Postlethwaite, Jake L. Netterville, William C. Potter, and Lonnie Stockwell. Currently, on a national level, Candace E. Wright, William E. Balhoff, and William C. Potter are serving in key technical committees of the AICPA and the accounting profession.
