Select industries have specific regulatory, compliance, and security needs. P&N has experience with the industries to the left as well as below. Financial Institutions For more than 30 years, P&N has provided professional services to financial institutions. Our clients have included national, state, and savings banks and other financial institutions, ranging in size from $10 million to over a billion in assets. We have experience with bank holding companies and banks reporting to the SEC. As part of our role as a leader in offering services to financial institutions, we have developed relationships with regulators and other banking departments. In February of 2004 and September of 2006, we conducted roundtables with the regulators to discuss the challenges that our clients face and learn more about their key concerns and issues. In addition, our members of the Society of Louisiana CPA’s (LCPA’s) Financial Institutions Committee meet with the regulators annually to discuss hot topics and ask questions. Healthcare Healthcare organizations face rising costs along with strict mandates for improved patient safety and quality of care. P&N has provided accounting and assurance, tax, consulting, and technology services to a range of healthcare providers. Our experience includes hospitals and health systems that range in size from 25 beds to 825 beds and more than $650,000,000 in assets. Legal Law firms must provide a trusted workplace, including the ability to protect their employees, assets, and client privacy against security threats, unplanned outages, and service deprivation. Law firms recognize the need to provide sophisticated and streamlined ways for people to communicate in order to instill greater teamwork within firms and improve client responsiveness. P&N has assisted law firms in efficiency, productivity, responsiveness, and client focus. State/Local Government Since inception, P&N has served the evolving needs of state and local governments and assisted them in meeting the technology needs of its citizens. Increased effectiveness and speed of services top the list of expectations, followed by expanding services in order to meet demands and accommodate a wider range of needs. |
