As part of this commitment, our employees are encouraged to become involved in community and civic activities in which they have a personal interest. We are very proud of the fact that our employees donate their time to over 75 different community service organizations throughout the state of Louisiana, in addition to many other schools and religious organizations.
Our leadership is committed to lending our professionals' time and technical skills in ways that help improve our state. P&N employees are involved in various committees and organizations that support Louisiana. Our employees serve on the Louisiana Tax Based Study Committee, Council for a Better Louisiana, Louisiana's Tax Institute, Louisiana Business and Technology Center Advisory Board, and Louisiana Family Recovery Corps. We have had firm representatives participate in the Board of Appeals for Local and State Use Tax, Secure Louisiana, Secure Review Commission, School Finance Review Commission, SCORE, and State of Louisiana House of Representatives' Committee on General Government. The firm was also a contributing author to The Louisiana Gulf Opportunity Zone Business Guide (2006), a publication developed in cooperation with the Louisiana Department of Economic Development and other partners, and Louisiana Business Resource Guide (2006).
