Before you start making your list and checking it twice, take a moment to review a few key dates and information that will help you prepare for the most wonderful time of the year!

Year-end Software Updates

Year-end software updates are essential, especially for organizations who run payroll through Sage 100. Keep an eye out for additional communications from your P&N team on when year-end tax table updates and interim release downloads are made available by Sage.

Accounts Payable and Payroll Year-End Checklists

  • Order forms and supplies - Be sure to order early! Refer to our comprehensive guide for more details. 
  • Clean up vendor master files
  • Review vendor payment history and draft 1099s
  • Review payroll check history and draft W-2s
  • Decide when to print W-2s (before or after first payroll for 2019)
  • Close your books
  • Print and/or electronically file 1099s and W-2s
