In the wake of a disaster, affected communities often rely on an infusion of federal or private party funds for recovery. Depending on eligibility, available funds can be utilized by governmental entities, non-profits, businesses, and individuals to restore communities to their pre-disaster state and mitigate against future disasters.
P&N has led and contributed to disaster recovery projects since Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast in 2005. Since then, we have worked on numerous large programs, including those related to many of the largest declared disasters in recent history.
P&N has provided management and oversight of these disaster recovery programs by carefully navigating federal and state regulatory requirements, program compliance requirements, vendor management, and resource availability, while working to fulfill the mission of the recovery program.
