Kathryn Pittman is an Associate Tax Director in the P&N Tax Services Group. Prior to joining the firm, she served as an Associate in the Tax Group at a regional law firm where she worked with clients on a variety of multi-state tax issues including advising on state credits and incentives. She has also worked in the state and local tax group of a national law firm advising Fortune 500 businesses on complex state and local tax matters. In addition, Kathryn began her career at a national accounting firm, where, as a member of the firm’s national state and local tax group, she provided state and local tax consulting services to a wide range of clients.
Kathryn’s practice focuses on federal taxation as well as on the complex nature of state taxation, including multi-state tax compliance. Kathryn also has experience in transactional planning for mergers and acquisitions, including both the state and federal tax consequences of such transactions. Kathryn is a published author in the area of state taxation, writing on topics related to both income/franchise and sales/use tax issues.
