Robin Braud Foret

Robin Foret is a Senior in the P&N Consulting Services Group. She brings over a decade of experience from working for chemical manufacturing plants, CPA firms and medical companies.Prior to joining P&N, Robin’s experience spans an array of accounting services that include hands on experience with accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivables, inventory controls, job costing, general ledger, and P&L statements. Once joining P&N, she spent five years in roles of effectively evaluating and processing claims in accordance with a highly complex class action settlement agreement. The areas of focus included financial analysis, qualitative communication, training, and quality assurance. Robin provided quality control review of homeowner assistance program grant award recipients. She calculated grant awards for program grantees and ensured accuracy of the final award calculations.Robin gained experience working in the chemical manufacturing industry as a plant controller for 6 years. In the role as plant controller, Robin prepared the general ledger, adjusted entries, reviewed and analyzed financial statements, maintained and created budgets with area managers, and submitted monthly reports to management, CPAs, and banks. Robin reviewed daily invoicing to assure accuracy and reasonableness of pricing for products. She maintained and performed monthly inventory of raw materials and finished goods using the FIFO method of inventory. She worked closely with the plant production manager and chemist to develop cost calculation of all finished products.Recently, Robin provided accounting support services for a methanol manufacturing plant. Robin maintained the client’s accounting system for accurate and timely reporting of financial statements, focusing on accounts payable and cash forecasting using PeopleSoft. Responsibilities included processing accounts payable invoices for payment, preparing weekly cash reports, analysing cash to ensure it meets financial commitments, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, preparing monthly journal entries, and submitting monthly sales tax to local and state agencies. Additionally, Robin provided support for a recent turnaround at the plant. During the turnaround, Robin managed the timekeeping system for all contractors at the plant and reconciled all contractor invoices to the time system to assure accuracy of invoices.
