Postlethwaite & Netterville, APAC (P&N), is excited to announce that Candy Wright was selected as one of the 2019 Most Powerful Women in Accounting by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and CPA Practice Advisor magazine. These awards are presented to women who are having an outstanding impact in the accounting profession as a whole and in particular in the lives of practitioners in the US and Canada. The award winners were announced at the AICPA ENGAGE conference in Las Vegas, one of the largest events devoted to accounting and finance in North America.
Candy was honored because of her leadership not only within P&N, but in the profession. Candy has a strong commitment to serving and enhancing the profession, which she exhibits through active involvement in a wide variety of professional associations, groups, and committees. She currently serves as Chair of the Private Company Council of the Financial Accounting Foundation, and on the FASB Small Business Advisory Committee. In the past, Candy served on the Governmental Audit Quality Center’s (GAQC) Executive Committee. In addition to this award and several others at the local level, Candy has been selected one of the 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today multiple times.
