This list recognizes leaders, change-makers, regulators, and other visionaries shaping the profession and charting the future of accounting. 

According to Accounting Today, Candy "is the voice of private businesses in the setting of accounting standards, putting their concerns and issues before FASB so they can be reflected in future GAAP, while also being active in the ongoing revolution in auditing being led by the AICPA." 

Throughout her ongoing leadership within P&N and in the profession, Candy exhibits strong commitment and dedication to her discipline. She serves as Chair of the Private Company Council of the Financial Accounting Foundation and is actively involved in professional associations, groups, and committees. In the past, Candy served on the Governmental Audit Quality Center's (GAQC) Executive Committee. In addition to this award, Candy was named one of the Most Powerful Women in Accounting in 2019 and has been selected as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today over four times. 

Candace E. Wright, CPA/CFF, is a P&N Director and service line leader for the firm's Accounting and Assurance Services Group. Candy joined the firm in 1985 and became a director in 1994.
